Exhibition ‘WOOD(S)’
The group exhibition ‘WOOD(S)’ focuses on the theme of ‘wood’. This important material, which we harvest from the forests and which has been used since time immemorial to create everyday objects and build houses…
Wood is also an essential material for creating works of art. We will be presenting a selection of these, in their natural state or transformed. We will also be exploring the symbolism of wood as a living material and as a vessel of memory.
Finally, this summer we will once again be bringing the sound of wooden instruments to the House of Compassion. Every day in July and August, we will be offering a meditation session with music on the flute, oud, violin and more – at 4 pm!
You can also walk a sensory path barefoot. This leads to an unexpected encounter.
More information will follow shortly.
