Party of Dignity

Giant Sabine is turning one, and has invited her fellow Giant Friends

Welcome to the second Festival of Dignity! On Saturday 9 May, we’ll be celebrating Giant Sabine’s first birthday. Six giants are already coming to her party. Lina from Turnhout. Alicia from Blareghem. Fatima from Borgerhout. Lady Justitia from Sint-Amandsberg. Hugo & Saida from Hoboken. The XR giantess from Ghent. The choir Les Invisibles from the Committee of Undocumented Women will also be there. Together, we celebrate the dignity of every human being. And the commitment of all those who stand up for greater human dignity. We cultivate connection, in these polarised times.

Will you be joining us?

Each giant will say a few words. About dignity. Their struggle. What connects them to giant Sabine. What wishes they have for giant Sabine and the world. Between these speeches, the choir Les Invisibles will be singing protest songs. So, let’s dance together – giants and people!

The Prize of Dignity and the Inauguration of the Wall of Dignity

We are honouring the choir Les Invisibles from the Committee of Undocumented Women. Giant Sabine awards them the Prize of Dignity and, together with them, inaugurates the Wall of Dignity. You can already spot Nezha Alouah and the Fanfakids there, the 2025 laureates. The choir will bring the morning to a close with a word about dignity, their struggle and their hopes for the future.

A Festive Meal and the Opening of the Exhibition Friends of Giant Sabine

Join us from 12 noon to enjoy a festive meal. Couscous. Soup. Drinks. Provided by Nezha Alouah, last year’s laureate.

Curious to find out more about the committed giants? Just before the feast, we’ll be opening the exhibition ‘Giant Family of Sabine’. Curated by Tristan Sadones.

Come along, experience a morning full of warmth and inspiration, and let your hope be bolstered!

Everyone is welcome! Let’s celebrate dignity together!
