And what is the fate of the vast majority of displaced people who have not traveled further than a neighboring country?\nMore than 300,000 people live together in the Kakuma and Kalobeyei refugee camps in Turkana, Kenya’s poorest region, struck by climate change. They come from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, South Sudan, Sudan, Burundi, Somalia, and other countries. The vast majority of them depend on food aid, but in March of last year, this was reduced to 40% of the required number of calories. And services in the areas of education, healthcare, security, and water also took a severe hit.\nWhat is it like to survive in the camps today?
