SUMMARY:The imaginary pilgrimage
DESCRIPTION:When three prisoners ask for support to process their life history and crime, Siska Deknudt, chaplain in Beveren prison, sets off with them.\nBeveren is a penitentiary institution for long-timers. The prison looms up when you drive between Ghent and Antwerp. It is a recently built prison and stands at the end of a dead-end street …\nInspired by the book “The improbable journey of Harold Fry”, she undertook an imaginary pilgrimage with them. Their experiences have been made into a wonderful exhibition with visual stories, podcasts and animations.\nThe exhibition will be on display in Brussels from 24 November.\nPractical information:\n– Church of Our Lady of Goodwill, 91, Brussels.\n– The exhibition is accessible Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm and on Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm.\n– The vernissage takes place on 24 November at 7 pm.\n
